Welcoming At Your Service into your home and life creates an extended family for you to find assurance and answers for the immediate need and to plan for the path ahead. We do this because we know and understand how the stresses and pressure of caring for an adult affects the entire family. Our staff and care specialists reach beyond basic transportation to appointments, medication reminders and fixing meals. With an expert team of doctors, medical equipment providers, insurance specialists, attorneys, RNs and specifically trained or certified personnel, At Your Service Home Care has the knowledge and experience available for you with one call. We recognize that all adults needing in-home care want and deserve to maintain their dignity. Our services are based on respecting that need for dignity.
Our care specialists bring service with the appearance of a dignified personal assistant, not a baby sitter or medical attendant.
Supporting and assisting an adult is no way child’s play and is a world apart from being a caregiver or sitter. Adults of every age and stage have habits, preferences, likes, dislikes, and personalities developed over their lifetime. Our team begins with preparing a care plan tailored to you and your loved one.
OUR AYSH TEAM
At Your Service Home Care is owned locally by a medical equipment specialist and physician who are active in the daily management and operations.
Our staff and assistants are specifically selected through interviews. Our assistants are trained in the At Your Service Home Care approach to client care with dignity, respect and service, as well as the needs of each specific family client. A clear South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) report and 5-year driving records are required to be a member of our team.
At Your Service Home Care provides RN oversite, annual clinical review and training on a client-specific basis. Each assistant chosen by a family or client will have certifications where necessary for a client’s level of care. This includes CNA, CMA and direct training on any medical equipment used by a client. AYSHC has assistants ranging from those simply bestowed with the gift of and passion for caring for others, to extensive knowledge and qualifications to care for bed-ridden clients.
Our assistants are oriented to our philosophy and approach to in-home personal care, including a detailed dress code, ethical and moral behavior, and etiquette befitting the role. The dress code begins with grey slack, white button shirts, black shoes and the AYSHC navy blazer with crest. This attire reinforces our view of a gentleman’s gentleman or lady’s lady. A client desiring to have afternoon tea will have an assistant capable of serving afternoon tea, sitting at a table to enjoy a meal over good conversation. Loss of independence does not mean loss of dignity and self-respect.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Your Service Home Care ensures the life you and your loved one enjoy continues with dignity and respect.
The philosophy of placing great value on the lifetimes spent, knowledge gained and wisdom available from the elders of a family is at the heart of our philosophy.
The word “elder” itself is a reference of respect, and worthy of advising. The unfortunate circumstance of a person’s physical abilities should never overshadow this fact. Our “elders” have lived, worked and experienced a lifetime of learning seldom found in books.
Preserving dignity and enjoyment of life is vital in either situation. Assisting with the care of a loved one and the family under any circumstance is a privilege, and At Your Service Home Care recognizes this privilege.
At Your Service Home Care is here to prepare for the path ahead as life’s changes arrive at your doorstep. Contact us today to learn more about us.
