It doesn’t matter if you’re here because you’re looking for help living independently, or if you want to make sure someone you love has the support they need to stay in their home. We believe there’s more to caring for people than just providing in-home assistance. You deserve a care partner that understands the course of your journey and will help navigate the road ahead. Whether it’s preparing a meal or providing 24-hour care, we will be there for you.
Exceptional service is something we never compromise on. With decades of experience in providing integral care in their communities, our professional teams will ensure that your safety and well-being come first.
Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.
Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.
Kate Book
Agency Director
Kate joined the Right at home team in April of 2019. Kate brings 25 years of experience to Right at Home. She started her career locally in long term care at Manatawny Manor as an office manager and assistant administrator. Kate moved on to a long-term care management company in Cherry Hill, NJ. She served as a regional nursing home administrator to ensure state and federal regulatory compliance for resident care, life safety, environmental services, dietary services, and financial management. Kate changed gears from facility management to home care, which she believes “is the long-term care future”.
While working with another home care agency, Kate received a call from a very persistent and persuasive gentleman named Steve Gettins. His vision of home care services and his philosophy of workplace culture, drew Kate to the Right at Home team.
Outside of the workplace, Kate spends every minute she can at the beach. Her favorite hobbies are dogs, music, and swimming. Kate’s philosophy in life is that “Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it. Autograph your work with excellence."

Jean Pierce
Client Ambassador
Jean started with Right at Home in August 2016. She worked in a similar environment for the VNA in Vermont. Jean switched roles from a facility maintenance company because it didn’t give her the personal feelings of satisfaction and time flexibility that caregiving does. Jean loves what she does at Right at Home, she has always worked hard to care for people almost as if she was born to do so.
Outside of the workplace, Jean loves to read, sew, crochet, cook, ride a four-wheeler, and spend time “doing nothing” with her family.
