My mother had to be emergency hospitalized twice within 7 days with current diagnosis of severe case of CDiff
Which she contracted at a nursing home. Unfortunately this isn't the first emergency medica condition she contracted from a staff person I feel the need to report current condition to an agency that can monitor the nursing home and follow up as I don't think she is the only patient.can I report this to department of aging and that particular state and maybe adult social services and what agency can investigate)

Cdiff is common in nursing homes because of fecal incontinence among residents. Your best defense for mom is get her on a good probiotics and I have heard brewers yeast supplementation can help to. The stronger her immune system the better chance her body has of keeping her from getting griff because it is resistant to a lot of antibiotics.

You can report this and any other condition to the Ombudsman.
You can report to the Local or County Health Department.
The State also does inspection and they license you can report to the State as well.
BUT I have to tell you that with CDiff the Health Department, the State is aware and is monitoring the situation. (and unless you know for sure that she contracted this directly from a staff person she could have contracted it from another resident or even a visitor)
Medicare Website has ratings of facilities and also will comment on inadequacies that are found. I think you can also report probable violations as well.
