My house is sinking. The flooring is unbalanced. Are there any resources to help me stay in my home without falling down because of this?

DH, can you get a reverse mortgage, or do you have any land you can sell.

This is not a little fix, like asking for someone to make a railing for a set of stairs or something..

Maybe a go fund me page, but this is still very expensive fix so I'm thinking you may not get the money required for you.

You also my have a considerably amount of mold in your home, which is not good for your health.

What about your homeowners insurance ?

Also check Habitat for Humanity . Maybe they could help .

dhornesby4, if your house was built in the past 10 years, most builders usually have a warranty to cover for this type of problem. If your house is around that time frame, you should have the warranty paperwork, it will give you info on whom to contact.

If there is no warranty, check with your county "council on aging" to see if there are any programs available to help you with your house, if not what do they suggest.
