My grandparents are my parents legally, I am 21 trying to go back to school. My parents who are technically my grandparents are now really my responsibility and I wouldn't have it any other way, but we are struggling financially. With all the bills and trying to keep my job while taking them to dr appts is getting very stressful, is there any assistance that I have access to?

There is all sorts of assistance available if the folks qualify financially; then you can live your life. Start out by calling the Area Agency on Aging. You are much too young to have responsibility for the elderly. It is alot of work and does not leave time to do the things you should be doing.

Thank you so much for that, I will surely do so. I feel guilty when I do anything for myself, they need a car or something or someone else, I love them beyond words and I cannot go back to school and I cannot pay for all of this. I dont want to move out because it would be hard emotionally on them.. I am stuck and feel emotionally and physically stressed.

Kaybree, do you have other siblings, aunts or uncles, who could help you in your situation? You can also speak with Medicare, and Medicaid, to see if they might qualify. And as above, check with your states, Area of Aging. Good luck with your research!
