Find Care & Housing
My Mom signed legal documents, but the attorney talked with her, questioned her and made sure she understood what she was signing. About a year later, she began shows signs of Alzheimer's Disease. Evaluation would be good. Otherwise, legal craziness could come back to haunt you later on. Just my opinion. I've been in it now for over 10 years and my Mom is on end of life with Alz and Stage 4 breast cancer. It's a horrible thing to watch dementia and Alz steal them from you. Go early and be prepared for any future issues. Hugs to you.

Dear Pattie,

I would talk to an elder law attorney about the process. They might want to engage a doctor as well. It is better to have all the documents arranged as soon as possible.
